TEHRAN – National Iranian Copper Company (NICICO) has been active in helping the flood-affected provinces since the early hours and it has donated over 215 Billion Rials as well as dispatching its representatives to those areas.
The CEO of the company Eng. Mohammad Reza Bani Asadi Rad says the total cash aid of the NICICO and three of its subsidiaries Shahr-e Babak, Sarcheshmeh and Songon Copper Complexes has exceeded 215.58 Billion Rials.
He added that 157 Billion Rials, after coordination with the IMIDRO, deposited into the account of National Crisis Management Organization and around 58b Rials has been spent for purchase and distribution of food stuff, apparel, machinery and hygienic equipment for Lorestan, Ilam, Golestan and Khuzestan provinces.
Bani Asadi Rad also noted that the company has also sent its advisor on cultural and sports affairs to the flood-hit provinces to identify the range of damages and priorities for sending relief aid.
He went on to say that the company’s non-cash aids to the area are food stuff, apparels, home appliance, hygienic equipment and accommodation equipment and more than 6 tons of meat and 4 tons of rice have also been sent to the areas.
